An exceptionally well balanced coffee with flavours of Biscotti, Honey, caramel, and unique citrus hints such as Kaffir lime.

We've been amazed by the quality of the coffee's we're receiving from Myanmar and this one is a perfect example. The Pa'O is grown by smallholder farmers in and around their homes. Each family has approximately 1-3 acres and interplant with shade trees and other crops as well as grazing livestock. This coffee is produced across 20 or so villages in Ywangan in the Southern Shan State. The growers are Shan, Danu, Pa-O, and Burmese people, They have been mentored in agronomy from Winrock International (NGO) and have ongoing support from local agriculture and coffee Q grader experts. These farmers are doing an epic spectacular Job and we're so stoked to be partnered with them.
In Myanmar, though coffee has been grown on a small scale for a long time, cultivation generally commenced in the 1980s with the government’s opium eradication program. The coffee quality from Myanmar is improving every year. It's quite rare to see specialty coffee from Myanmar, but the future is bright with some coffees cupping close to 90 points in recent harvests. Part of our mission is to showcase the potential of the lesser known growing regions of Asia, Myanmar is kicking goals and we're pumped to share it with you.
